I started doing yosakoi in 2011 when I did my year abroad at uni. I was looking for a dance student society, saw yosakoi on the list, didn't know what it was so I went to try it. Instantly loved it and joined Madani. In 2012 went to Kouchi with Saikai, which was an amazing experience to finish my year abroad with.

I have been doing Yosakoi since 2016 when I discovered it at a local festival in Japan.

I started dancing yosakoi right after moving to the UK in 2016 and loved it ever since! I made so many friends through yosakoi and experienced the most amazing times with Yosakoi London Temuzu and Kizuna International Team. I'll continue to work hard to spread the joy of yosakoi!
